Principal's Message

Many parents testify to the nurture, love and care their students receive in addition to the solid academic and spiritual base of the College.

We are always seeking quality enrolments at all primary levels Foundation - Year 6 and secondary levels from Year 7 - 10. We are particularly seeking quality students at the transition from Grade 6 to Year 7 from Primary to Secondary. Our College offers a caring and safe family environment for students. Having both primary and secondary students on the one campus provides a unique opportunity for buddies and students to relate to others at all levels. Families considering enrolment for any level are urged to contact the College as soon as possible to arrange for a tour of the school.

College Buses bring students on morning and afternoon routes daily from Kangaroo Flat (via Lockwood and Harcourt), Strathfieldsaye (via Elphinstone and Chewton) and Maryborough (via Carisbrook and Newstead) and so distance is manageable for families wishing to avail themselves of the benefits of Christian Education here at Olivet Christian College.  Approximately 70% of our students come by bus transport.

We continue to see the College welcome new families who desire the safe, family environment of Olivet and high standards of Christian Education for their children. Families love the strong work ethic among the students and want to see their children grow in character, being responsible for their learning by demonstrating honesty and integrity in their work, as well as showing compassion and care for others. We want students to develop a love for learning that will stay with them for life, to reach their full potential and to see God's purposes for them revealed as they grow and mature.

We do urge families considering Olivet as their chosen school to move quickly to come and see us. Please feel free to ring and make an appointment to visit us and have a closer look at Olivet Christian College for the effective and successful Christian education of your children. We cater for students from Foundation (Prep) right through to Year 10.
